On November 3, 2025, our community came together to celebrate the extraordinary impact of Sala Institute for Family Centered Care at Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital and to honor Catherine S. Manno, MD, a leader whose vision and dedication have transformed care for children and families.
It was a warm and joyful evening, shining a light on Sala’s enduring commitment to compassion, partnership, and excellence in pediatric care. Guests reflected on the powerful role Sala plays in supporting children and families every day—and on the impact of Dr. Manno’s leadership in advancing children’s health.
This year’s Sala-bration welcomed 150 guests and raised more than $1.1 million in support of Sala Institute. These funds directly benefit children and families through supportive care services, resilience programming, family partnership initiatives, and safety and quality efforts, ensuring that every child receives care that is both exceptional and deeply personal.
